Saint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day, is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. The day is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentine and was established by Pope Gelasius I in 500 AD. It was deleted from the Roman calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI, but its religious observance is still permitted. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.

Modern Valentine's Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass-produced greeting cards.

Romantic legends of Valentine's Day:

The Early Medieval acta of either Saint Valentine were expounded briefly in Legenda Aurea. According to that version, St Valentine was persecuted as a Christian and interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II in person. Claudius was impressed by Valentine and had a discussion with him, attempting to get him to convert to Roman paganism in order to save his life. Valentine refused and tried to convert Claudius to Christianity instead. Because of this, he was executed. Before his execution, he is reported to have performed a miracle by healing the blind daughter of his jailer.

Since Legenda Aurea still provided no connections whatsoever with sentimental love, appropriate lore has been embroidered in modern times to portray Valentine as a priest who refused an unattested law attributed to Roman Emperor Claudius II, allegedly ordering that young men remain single. The Emperor supposedly did this to grow his army, believing that married men did not make for good soldiers. The priest Valentine, however, secretly performed marriage ceremonies for young men. When Claudius found out about this, he had Valentine arrested and thrown in jail.

There is an additional modern embellishment to The Golden Legend, provided by American Greetings to History.com, and widely repeated despite having no historical basis whatsoever. On the evening before Valentine was to be executed, he would have written the first "valentine" card himself, addressed to a young girl variously identified as his beloved, as the jailer's daughter whom he had befriended and healed, or both. It was a note that read "From your Valentine."

The True meaning of love:

Let's separate the words unconditional love and look at them individually. First, what do we mean by the word love?

The True Meaning of Love

Many of us have thought we understood the meaning of unconditional love, yet perhaps we should again consider what it really means. Is unconditional love a feeling, something like affection or romance?

Is it sexual desire? Is it an expression toward another? What does it mean to unconditionally love another? What does it mean to unconditionally love ourselves?

Often we define love as a physical response to either external or internal stimuli.
For instance, when we look at another person whom we love, we may get a sense of inner happiness that translates into a melting feeling in our bodies.

Love can also be defined in a more superfincial way, with a descriptive meaning.
We may use the word casually as an expression, without feeling or truely understanding its essence.

Let's look now at love as being something more than just an internal feeling or an external description.

Love, like all our other doorway concepts, is a thought within. The thought of love has an energy to it. The energy comes from the culmination of all our experiences and memories of love.

The physical and emotional experiences provide part of the backdrop of what we know as love. And yet ther is more. Becasue love is a thought and our thoughts have energy, love is also power: Internal Power.

Love is a sense of peace within. Love is joy and happiness deep inside. Love is an expression of kindness and compassion.

Love understands. Love comforts, supports, and cares for. Love forgives. Love also honors, respects, and believes.

Love is patient. Love does not judge or show hate. Love does not fear or doubt, love trusts. Love is not aggression, spite, or terror. Love is not blame or guilt.

Love is so much more than just a word.It is a way of being-- it is a thought.

To be unconditional is to have no strings attached, no expectations, no stipulations.
If we bring out two words together, we may say that unconditional love is an unlimited way of being.

We are without limit in our thinking and our expression of thought. If we can imagine it, we can build it. Life through love is, therefore, an unlimited experience.

In daily life of human community, people always meet each other for relationship. Can you live without relationship? No! We can not. If you can live without relationship that means you can live alone. Because relationship is a string, a connection for people to connect each other. No relationship, your life will be connectionless, no meaning, will be quiet. Because of relationship, people can see each other, contact each other until they get to know each other. When people meet each other, they will have different type of relationship. Some people meet each other to discuss business, to solve any problem they face in daily life. Some people meet each other to make friend, as they never know each other before. While they are making friends, most people find out more about their relationship, especially the relationship between a man and a woman. They can say that first it's just a normal friendship, but when they are having closed relationship, closer and closer until they know each other well, some people know heart by heart, it becomes love relationship, they start loving each other. After they love each other, they agree to get married and live for long life with each other until the end of their lives. So that means for such relationship people know that they have found true love.

So How to Find True Love?




This is a kind of question that people, especially adults that they are having a love relationship or finding true long life love friend or simply called 100 year-friend. How to find true love? Finding true love is something like you are finding a true thing that you predetermined or the thing you want. For example, if you want to buy a clothe. Before you got to market, you will think whether what kind of clothe, what color, which size that best suited to you. After you thought clearly the clothe that you want to buy, then you go to market to buy your desired clothe. Hey! Finding true love is easy like buying the clothe? Yeah, it still not easy like buying clothe. Sometimes people can not get the thing as they want. At the point that it's the same as buying clothe is that before you love a person you should consider about your interesting person whether he or she is best suited to you or not. For your love lasts for long life or called your true love, you should think about love each other heart by heart. True love is not depended on beauty, wealthy, rich or poor in any way. You must much consider on your lover's heart mined. Why true love is not depended on beauty, wealthy or position? Beauty, wealthy, or position are not human built-in things or as they will not be with you for long as good mined heart. You are beautiful or handsome is just in a period that you are young, but when become old, your beauty will go away. Wealthy can also be like your beauty. You are now rich, but it's not sure that 10 years later you will be still rich. Now you are millionaire, 20 years later, you may become a beggar. Now you are my boss, but any time later, you may become a worker, etc. For a valid good minded heart, when a person have this kind of heart, they will be a good minded hearty person until they die. So this is the best choice for you to find true love by using heart to heart technique to find a true long life love. Same feeling or same attitude between you and your partner can be considered as the best things to find a true love.

Money Can Buy True Love?

In human daily life, there are many kinds of persons living in a society. Those of people always have different kinds or styles of living standard like rich, poor, medium..

For rich people, they must have lots of money. With money, the rich can buy foods, clothes, furniture, goods, ...etc as they want to buy. But is it possible for rich people use their money to buy True Love?



Another question: Money is everything? If you have money, do you have everything? For me, I think money may buy a person, but money may not buy a person's heart or mind. Money can give you properties, but it's not sure that money can give you happiness. So money is not everything.

How about true love?

What is the True Love? A man and woman love each other so much ,they love each other by heart to heart. They love each other in an honest, peaceful way until they want to get married and live with each other for life until they die and when they die, they really want to die together, that's I think it's a true love between a man and a woman.

Money can buy true love?

A rich man love a girl, but she does not love the rich man. The man uses many many means to attract her. The last mean that the rich man think it's may be OK is using his money to buy the girl's love. The man does not hesitate to give her all his money. But the girl still not love the rich. So, money can not buy her love, the true love of her!..

A story talking about a couple with a poor living standard, but their heart is not poor to love each other to have a true love in their family life. The couple has been married for 3 years. They love each other so much, so they are living in a happiness way. They have a house in a countryside village. One day, a millionaire came to visit the village and saw the couple. The millionaire fell in love with the wife of the poor husband and wanted her to live with him. The millionaire tried to give much much money to the wife to convince her. But the wife said: "I do not get your money or I strongly disagree with you. I already have my husband!". The millionaire said: "If you don't go with me, I will kill your husband!". The wife went to hug her husband and the couple said: "We are not be able to separate. We're happy to die together!". The millionaire saw like that, he pity the couple and said that: "My position, my money can not by the true love!!!"

So, in conclusion, Money is not everything. Money is really can not buy True Love!!!
